Argel is an entrepreneurial Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in California, a member of the AICPA, and a resident of Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). He holds a cum laude B.S. in Accounting from the University of San Francisco and spent five years at Deloitte as an auditor and tax consultant, specializing in technology, supply-chain, and manufacturing sectors.

Before founding DTLACPA, he launched a startup that automated tax and accounting processes for micro-businesses and the sharing economy. Beyond accounting, he co-founded a small business in Downtown LA that offers innovative cheese tea drinks.

Outside the office, he enjoys playing basketball, indulging in Filipino cuisine, and advocating for the practicality of minivans.
